UPDATES

The reason i've been a bit lax in posting is that i've been doing some more webdesign for others, and one client in particular is after a dynamic blog type thing. Now that I have learnt the necessary skills to implement a blog by myself that is coded EXACTLY the way I want it, i'm obviously considering using one here, insteadof going through blogspot. But more than that, it's prompting me to think about redesigning the whole of my site in that format. The problem is, I don't really have the time for it at the moment, what with uni haveing just started again.

Bit of a dilemma, but there will be an answer.

GHOST IN THE SHELL

When i'm not sitting in the dark doing stupid drawings I like to go outside and do stupid things. Like build this instrument:

I'm calling it Ghost in the Shell because when I was stripping the paint off it gave these white whisps across the surface. Not knowing metal very well, i don't know why this happened.

It's two woks that i'm destroying. It will be a miniature and shit version of a HANG (http://www.hangfan.co.uk) when it's done. 

Beautiful. More sketches later.

Made some more linework.
That's what I used to call it when I had the delusion of being a comicbookartist, when we used to talk about things like linework and lineweight. So why am I doing this, if it just makes me feel like i'm twelve again? It relates not at all to the rest of what i'm doing...but i'm dead set on drawing my things. Maybe i'll doing something facile like make a shitting CD cover out of it. Then it's art! No offence Thom...it's actually a pretty good idea.
